As we gear up to re-open Pressed Roots on May 16, the safety and well-being of our staff and guests is our top priority. Never has that duty to serve been clearer than it is now. That is why we are making several changes to many of our procedures to employ stringent cleaning and safety practices to support the health and wellness of everyone in the Pressed Roots community. These measures include everything from spray treatments and disinfectants, to lowering the operating capacity of the salon. We are here to help you maintain your beauty in this new world of zoom meetings and face masks. Our focus is, and always will be, taking care of the #pressedgang.
Our Commitment to You
* We are limiting the number of people in the salon to provide customers more personal space, thus we are no longer allowing walk-in appointments.
* We are enforcing NO TOUCH greeting methods
* Stylists' temperatures will be checked at the start of their shift each day
* Stylists will wear protective masks throughout the duration of each appointment
* EPA Grade Barbicide and disinfectant that kills viruses on contact is applied on every surface in the salon multiple times per day
* We also deep clean the salon every night
* Stylists will disinfect and clean styling tools, stations, and shampoo bowls after each appointment
* Stylists will wash hands for a minimum of 20 seconds before and after each appointment
* Hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the salon for customers
* We have aligned these stringent cleaning policies and procedures with guidance from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention

* Please refrain from visiting Pressed Roots if you have a fever, communicable illness, or any COVID-19 symptoms. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date without a cancellation fee
* Please wear a protective face mask in the salon at all times. Face masks are required for customers.
* Please do not bring any guests with you to your appointment. We are limiting the number of people in the salon to Pressed Roots staff and Pressed Roots customers who have pre-booked their appointments. Pressed Roots is appointment only and will NOT be accepting walk-ins until further notice.
* It is highly encouraged to bring your own hand sanitizer
* Please maintain physical spacing at the salon before and after your appointment
